LICP popped off, after i put it back on engine wont start
My LICP popped off about 300 yards from my house. I limped the car home and was able to reinstall it (in subzero weather...boston sucks). Now comes the strange part, the car wont start. The starter turns but I hear absolutely no combustion whatsoever. I got a few backfires (pop, pop) but thats it. I'm stumped. Help!
No it seemed fine before. I had to start it up for a few seconds w/o the pipe (super rich) in order to position the car so that I could access the LICP. After I reinstalled the pipe I tried to start it to make sure I installed it correctly. The starter turned and I heard 3 rumbles like it was about to start and then nothing just the starter. Then just to test, I removed the hose leading to the intake manifold (to see if there was some obstruction in the piping in general) but still nothing no combustion at all. Its also like 25 degrees outside if that matters.

tried it with no luck , but thanks
hmm, that doesn't sound good, is there anyway you can do a compression test? its a little extreme to think that its that bad but its worth a shot. re-check all clamps and pipes.
It was the plugs! Sorry for the panicking, but it was a scary moment there. They were so badly fouled they weren't firing at all. Pulled them, cleaned them, good to go. Def gonna need a new set but these will at least get my engine going for now! Thanks everyone
