So i went on a cruise this past weekend that was mainly mustangs, camaros, and vettes and i decided my EVO is slow as ****. I was thinkin about doing something to it but i don't wanna go broke since i am buying a house. So i looked at the Stage 1 through AMS and i wanted to know what some fellow EVO owners think of this. Is it a resonable price and power gain or is there some other setup that would be cheaper with better gains? Let me know what you guys think.

 

If you're on a budget do a fuel pump upgrade, MBC, boost gauge, a turbo-back exhaust, a set of used cams and an Alky kit. This will net you an extra 100 WHP.

look at the warrtalon/buschur package

search for warrtalon's name and look at his sig

that will net you 300whp...extremely fair deal

 

It's not a bad kit, but I think stg1 should be different than the way they have it.

 

I just looked into your kit that you offer....seems like a nice setup...just out of curiousity, do you have pics of the exhaust that someone would get when purchasing that package?

 

I don't personally have pics saved, but there are tons on this forum. You can't see 90% of the exhaust, since it's under the car, so I assume you're only asking about seeing the exhaust tip and muffler? If so, then yeah, there's a lot of pics, but it also depends on the muffler you choose: Magnaflow, Bullet, or Race. The Bullet is the best in terms of weight and power, but it's pretty loud when you go catless, so a lot of people either get the Magnaflow + catless or HFC + Bullet. Some even go HFC + Magnaflow, but that all depends on your preference.
