which set up for my evo ix

ok basically i want a realiable, not much of a hassel, safe 11 sec daily driver
2 set-ups i have in mind

current mods:
3" Megan racing turbo back exhaust
o2 housing megan racing
Hallman pro mbc
k&n drop in filter

thinking of going with these as my next mods

Ams licp
walbro 255
gsc s1 272 cams
snow performance methanol injection kit with failsafe
apr headstuds

im guessin that would be around 400 whp with a good tune
im kinda skeptic on running methanol tho, dont wanna refill all the time and the precautions of it all

well the other set up on my mind

Megan racing exhaust manifold
walbro 255
Gsc 272 cams
Greddy Fmic with licp and uicp
utec or sumtype of software with 2 or so maps one for 93 octance and one for race gas alot safer then meth and not so much of the hassel

please let me know what you all think!!

I like this setup but would add an intercooler, ported/coated mani, and ported/coated hotside...

Many meth kits on the market have good failsafes nowadays so you wouldnt really have to worry about the system failing...plus the meth will only spray when you hit a certain boost level that you preset so you wont be using it the entire time your driving, only when boosting over your preset level. So your meth should last a while, and meth is cheaper then race gas.

UTEC? Hell no. All you need is a flash. You don't need a UTEC to have 2 maps. You can have unlimited maps with EcuFlash - just need a laptop to load them.

Avoid the meth if you're afraid, because that means you shouldn't even mess with it. You can have an 11-sec IX with the mods in your 2nd list. just port the stock manifold instead of getting a crack-prone Megan, then avoid getting an FMIC just for the Greddy name. Get a good Buschur, AMS, or Nisei FMIC, and you're ready to rock. Custom flash it all when you're done, and get two maps made - one for 93 and one for race gas, but be sure to bring the race gas to the tuning session.

FullRace ex. manifold or stock ported&coated is the way to go

Alky...meth...same thing with the same risks - just a different fluid.
