H&S, I'm very interested in your system. For the cat back on an otherwise stock car, how is the sound and how much does it weigh? Is that 17 hp gain for the cat back on an otherwise stock car or were there other mods? Any dyno charts?

Hi
The 17 BHP gain was cat back on a stock car with just the air filter changed. the dyno test was done by 2 companies 1 being hyper tourismo which we have the chart, (e,mail me if you want to see it sales@scoobyexhausts.com ) and the other 1 is Ralliart uk/ Extreme automobiles which was done by Toney *** . The system weighs approx 17KG.

Ian

Need to get some new scales

22 kg? I was expecting more like 22 lbs! Is that for the cat-back or turbo-back?

I like the extra power of yours over the JIC titanium exhausts, but an extra 34 lbs (42 vs. 8) sure puts a damper on my enthusiasm. You also have a significant cost advantage over the Ti exhausts, and that can't be ignored, but...

I want my cake and I want to eat it too!

Sorry just had a exhaust weighted on some digital scales and they came out at 17 KG and not 22KG as orginal posted.
That is for a complete Turbo back system

I got an e-mail from Ian saying the weight on the cat-back is 12.5 kg. He also sent me a couple of dyno charts. They're a bit tough to read, but here we go...

The Hayward & Scott box fitted on my EVO7 by Ralliart UK is as in pics. They might be of interest to you US folk. Note the probe mounted behind where the cat was. (Cat now straight through). Lovely quality IMHO.

So how have you enjoyed your H&S, Defector? How does the exhaust note compare to that of the system made for the WRX?

Btw- The H&S exhaust looks excellent! That has the quality build appearance of a nice Milltek exhaust, which I am used to using on my S4's and VW's.

Defector, Thanks for the great pics.!

exhaust

Hello all!

We're excited to be bringing the H&S exhaust over for the Evo! The systems have been regarded in the Subaru community for years - because of their performance gains and sound quality... we guarantee them for 25 years.

Watch for more info here and in the vendor classifieds. We have had some inquiries about a group buy... while we don't typically do them, we've been considering one with bit of a discount as a kick-off for the system here in North America.

Regards,
Ken Cole
