I am, and they do what they are supposed to do. Cant say enough about Jackson auto. Good peoples all around, and you cant beat that price, check the dealership if you havnt already and you will see.

 

why did you buy them?

 

If your lifters are ticking after having been properly bled, these will fix the problem.

I used them on my VIII since my cams had been out a few times and I wanted a silent valvetrain without the possibility of the stockers making noise. As a previous poster said, they do what they're supposed to. A+ for the product and company.

Nothing about diesal fuel when installing these, comes with a complete guide to follow when installing them. Great people to deal with as mentioned above.

Just drop them in. No prep necessary.

All you have to do is bleed them before you install them, its not a big deal. They come with directions. I am installing these right now, they better work or I am going to be really pissed haha

you say that they need to be bleeded??does the instrucciones tell you to bleed them when new??

 

Like I said before in my previous bost, you drop them in. You don't soak them in oil or diesal fuel, just drop in.

They are brand new meaning no oil went thru them, so they don't need bleeding like OEM's when removed and re-used.

 

They gave explicit directions on how to install/bleed them. They said it is 100% necessary to bleed them before installation.

The directions sort of freaked me out at first, as they basically said, "compress them only enough to get the oil out of them, BUT DO NOT OVER COMPRESS THEM OR YOU WILL DAMAGE THEM and then that was followed by "BUT IF YOU DONT DO IT ENOUGH YOU WILL DAMAGE THEM"... it also said to bleed them using peices of aluminum on each end to make sure you dont damage them. Pretty ridiculous directions to install them if you ask me. They should just come good to drop in, I was so mad when I saw that crap I was about to send them back. They better work, thats all Im going to say

 

Now they do come with oil in them, as mine were oily and the directions basically said the oil MUST be bled out of them before installation. Why would they start coming like that? I wish I knew. I wish I got them before you had to do that nonsense.
