Question IC fill bottle and Clutch question

Does anyone else have problems when they fill the IC sprayer bottle. Mine isn't even topped off, yet fluid comes dribbling out of the bottom. Is this common? Secondly, I have a little clutch whine when I first engage it after a long sit, i.e. the next morning. It only happens once a day, but wanted to know if anyone out there had a similar experience.

Notice the overflow tube on the fill bottle? You can't fill it to the top, which I find annoying.

Ya but the thing that really sucks is that you cant tell the water is low in the tank. Does a light come on when we are low , or do we just have to keep adding water now and then? Or do we just let the pump burn out when it is empty and we still stry to squirt it?

No light. Just keep checking it.

Pump makes a noticably different noise when its empty.

One of these days I'm going to plug up the overflow tube to up the capacity.

If you do plug up the drain tube, just make sure you drill a hole in the filler cap....or keep the cap cracked open a little.

Because the drain tube not only lets the overflowed liquid escape, it also lets air into the bottle as the water is used up. You wouldn't want to go creating pressure in the IC bottle, which would strain/reduce effectiveness of the lil water pump, ri?
