calm down man, water over flow? Are you referring to the radiator overflowing coolant?

More Info..... Does it bubble ? does it overflow from the overflow tank ?

It may be a blown head gasket.

woooooo slow down big billy, lose the caps. help us get this straight here, water fills the over flow tank and you put it back where? does it overflow? do you let the car cool down before you start "putting it back" what is the level in the overflow tank when the car is cold?

How much does it overflow? because it's supposed to

It fills up about a cup when it's hot, then as it cools it gets sucked back in .

JUST A CUP OR SO IS NORMAL

I refuse to read anything you type without proper punctuation. Re-type it, un-capitalized, using periods and commas, and you can expect about twice the amount of posts you have received so far.

I have the same issue. I get normal hot coolant expansion, but the coolant does not get sucked back when cold. No overall coolant volume lost.

I replaced the rad cap in case of a bad return valve. My next guess would be an air leak between the coolant tank and rad, because there is no leak in the pressurized system. Maybe unpressurized coolant can flow to the tank, but air is sucked back into the rad?

Any one else have this problem?

Thanks.
