Don't know the technical term but its the two layered "sprung" ring the TOB attaches to...

Anyone have one?

From what I hear mitsu does not sell them by itself it comes with the pressure plate.

I kept calling it a retaining clip.

ACTMan I think has them but he can't sell them now or something due to mitsu not selling alone (which is stupid since it is a weak piece.

Mine was the ring that went around that piece that broke. The grooved clip that went on the other side. I took mine off the factory clutch and used 2 or 3 wave washers.

Sorry about the horrible picture. But thats the piece that broke right? That ring around the claws.

sorry man... but basically you just need to find anyone who is replacing their clutch and take the one off the old clutch assuming its not broken. any shop that works on evos should have one lying around.

I'm just wondering if they can be taken off and reused? I would think such a simple thing could be but you never know.

I have a friend lined up who's got his stock pressure plate laying around so im gonna grab it off there..

Yes they can be reused, unless of course the person that took out the old one mangled it. To the OP try calling around to shops like RRE,Buschur or AMS that do installs and they may have an old one laying around from a clutch install.

it looks like its time for a pressure plate my question for you is why would you put it back to stock. instead just up grade and solve the entier problem while you have it apart. you never kno when the stock clutch will start to slip. might as well replace it. i have some instock pm me for pricing or contact sales at ttp-engineering.com

I took that picture from somewhere else. I have an ACT pressure plate and i just recently dropped the tranny to replace a broken disk but in the process i bent this piece.
