Exhaust question

I just bought a 9 MR and I was wanting to keep the exhaust noise down. Would it kill the power if I went with a new 02 housing, 3 in DP and cat delete to stock exhaust? I have always had a TBE type exhaust and really don't mind it, I was just thinking it would be cool to stay kinda low key. I plan getting a tune and a MBC. I really want to make 350whp, that possible with those mods on 93 octane? Thanx in advance.

yes it's possible to make 330 -350 whp with TBE, mbc, 02 housing, filter, Tune

and there are exhaust that are not noisey for the evo, they almost sound like stock ! ..

in theory, you should not make as much power with the stock catback still in place; but there are a few people who are running great stock turbo times that have stock cb... see a couple threads above under - "272 exhaust cam only, in IX"

you could go with a quiet cat back like the greddy sp2 or the greddy evo 2 or the apexi noir.
