Evolink computer

Hi

Greetings from New Zealand

Ok so I have a JDM evo IX GT
Previously I had reflashed the computer

Following this I fitted the prototype evolink ecu

On a dyno pack we ended up with 240kw at the wheels (nz made dyno, need to remove wheels)

My car was the test car for the new link (same people that make the KnockLink) computer.

On full boost (especially lower rpms) it was a lot smoother and more power than on the factory even after flashing.

I asked why this was and was told about injector phasing ie at what point the fuel is injected compared to inlet valve opening, etc. Not that they actually tol me...although it seems i can download the map!

I would be intersted in comparing what other results people have got for a car in similar spec.

Thanks
Andrew

also will put some kelford aka cosworth cams in it next to see what difference that makes, before we do we will need some bigger injectors as the current ones are maxed already

note this is a JDM GT with the mag turbo, etc

The computer is here www.linkecu.com

Interestingly Kevin Ban has driven the car and says it is better than what can be achieved with AEM.

If you are wondering who Kevin ban is...he's the guy who has just sold 300 sets of 'Cosworth' cams. he actualy designed the cams himself and he owns kelfords.

When i first joined this forum (was it that long ago) 2001, i had a 6 and nothing was available (from 1st hand experience) about the evo on this site (also would use my original login but can't change the email...)

Since then things have changed! which is all good.

Having relashed the factory computer...wef ound power but we found another 20kw since then.

I have run out of injector ...on the factory turboi?
