can i run the stock ecu with a walbro fuel pump??

can i run the stock ecu with a walbro fuel pump??

ok i need to get my 5th gear warranteed. so the car is tuned on the safc2. i plan to put the stock fmic, stock pipes, stock exhaust, stock intake, stock bov, stock cams, stock injectors

will the stock ecu run the car fine with the walbro cuz i relly dont want to swap that out.

the Mitsu technician is going to clue in immediately on the fuel pump and void your warranty, and you're gonna have to pay out of your pocket to fix you're broken transmission.

Or at least that's the way it should work.

Thanks in advance for modding your car and trying to return it to stock, and then expecting Mitsu to fix it under warranty, and making us all suffer in the long run.

Mitsu won't even know you changed it, unless the can compair the changes made in the ecu. I doubt they'll take the time to do this.

Only other way they can tell is cause it's loud as hell and then they'd have to know what the sound is. Unless you know already I doubt the tech would even think about it.

no, but mitsu will use that to justify voiding another powertrain warranty

I don't have a walbro in my Evo, but I had one in my Nissan. It's not exactly quiet....
