for the newb OG poster: venting to atmosphere is stupid. no cool sound is worth the negative effects of doing this. you only really need one if your stock one isn't holding boost.

From personal experience i would suggest you not to get the Greddy Type-Rs...

it sucks!

keep the stocker, unless you start boosting over 26psi!

I suggest you start reading about the differences between atmospheric BOV's and By-pass valves. It's not worth it buying an atmospheric BOV and the whoosh sound was only a fad. I wouldn't buy one.

I don't understand why some people waste their time to type when they can just use the x out option (right hand corner of your window). Anyways I left mine stock good luck with your search hope you find the answer you're looking for.

I personally have a APS. It's mainly recirc, but it also has a VTA option for when boost hits hard enough.

Just to help a new guy out.

A cone filter is simply a filter shaped like a cone, nothing special like that; opposed to a drop-in filter like a K&N or the Works that simply replace the stock filter.

BOV: Stock Evo IX is fine until you start running anything past 23 psi, Forge RS or TiAL if and when you go for higher boost levels.

I would go TiAL though, but you need to be running MAF'less, so the Forge would be a good way to start.

C'mon guys don't flame the new guy; the search function is not the greatest.

BTW, this should be in the newbie section.

+1 for the APS. I've had one now for 2 year and have had no problems with it at all.
