Long con-rods for evo engine?
does anyone know who might have longer than stock rods (oem = 5.900") for the evo other than custom order?
i am curious to know if there is a off the shelf rod avaiable from another engine manufacturer.
I have heard of people building long-rodded engines, but i havent heard who & where they got the rods from...Yeah, i know i need special pistons too.

You can buy them off-the-shelf here:

For a 2.0L engine with std 4G63 block, you'd use a 156mm rod and stroker (2.3) piston, which should give correct deck height.
I have a set of custom Olivers in 156mm, but I'm not really betting they're worth the money in real world results, even with larger turbo setups where whatever benefit would be best realized (very high rpm).
