Who's running a Maxford header?

How many of you out there are running this manifold? If so what are your impressions on it? Any signs of fatigue/cracking. How does it hold up to supporting the weight of the turbo/O2. And lastly, what kind of power have you guys picked up using this manifold? Any downsides? Sorry for all the questions, thanks. I searched but really couldn't come up with anything in terms of power or reliability (besides what gruppe-s has to say).

had that on my viii - keep the stock O2 housing w/ the bracket, helps keep stress off the mani especially when it is glowing red hot.

i'm running it...couldn't tell you about power gains cause i did a bunch of mods at the same time so i didn't have a good before/after feel for just the manifold...

so far, no cracks and seems to be holding up well with the addition of an o2 housing and a ported/coated hotside.

downsides are the risk of cracking and the very slight gains.....as everyone will tell you, the best header for the money is a ported/coated stocker...when/if i upgrade to the 20glt, i might take off the maxford and put on a coated/ported stocker.

I've been running the Maxford header now for 2 years with no problems. on the stocker untuned I noticed a bit of midrange. I did no before/after testing on it so i can't tell you the gains it gave me after i tuned my car as i added a boatload more mods before the tune.
Currently after following smokinjoe's thread about tuning it with a atp turbo kit I did the same as well and have been using ever since with my atp setup. "tooned" CA 91 pisstane on a mustang dyno@340 whp @21 psi. keep on mind as well 340 is a complete different story not being on a dj. Hope this helps out!
