turbo upgrade ?'s

Ive been thinking about going bigger turbo lately especially since my buddy put a 60 trim on his srt. But my car is my daily driver and i dont have a ton of cash to throw at it so im curious as to what turbo upgrade (preferably a kit with oil lines and all nessecary hardware) would be a good bang for my buck but isnt very pricey but also keeps good drivability and wont compromise my motor. thanks guys

Max out your stocker first.

My stock 04 turbo put down similar numbers to a local gt35r car on pump gas on the same dyno

i dont want to be over 375 at the wheels just cause of drivabilty and reliability cause i dont know how much hp you can have before you start having issues with things beaking, if someone knows a ballpark thatd be great. And the stock turbo can only handle so much so why put all the money into it when i could put that or less into a bigger turbo and get similar results.

the stocker just may be able to get the results you want. 400whp stockers are not the rarest thing around here. what about cams? dont see those listed on your mods check list there. fuel pump would also be a good idea, both of those of course, with a re-tune. maybe another psi of boost too.

i want cams so bad but theyre like 400 for a pair plus gears wich are like 3somethin and then installation which i have no idea how to do them so itd be almost the same price as a turbo upgrade but trust me if i find a good deal on some cams ill jump on it. just one question though, do my dyno numbers seem a lil low for the mods i have or is it just me? from what ive read i was expecting more like upper 270s but thats just me

you don't need cam gears and the install for cams is not much, around 200.

If you're looking for a turbo upgrade I'd say look at the FP Green. That's what i'm getting and I use my car as a daily driver.
