Exclamation when do i need to start tuning

hey guys hows it goin im kinda new to this so no hard jokes lol.... im hearing alot about if u put a intake on u should get tuned .... what mods can i do before i start to run into tuning and flashing i just bought a bov and turbo back exhaust will i be good with that if i hold off on the intake im running stock boost as well ???? thanks

All the bolt-ons you technically don't need to tune it. You usually tune to get the max potential out of all the parts you put on or else you'd probably be wasting your money for minimal gains and crappy gas mileage. And please don't get a BOV and if you're wondering why there are tons of threads on this so do a search. TBE is definitely a good start for a first mod.

I think most good tuners would tell you that a tune should be the first thing you do, and re-tune after every mod.

That's because they get money by tuning you twice =P. Just kidding. That's not a bad idea either.
