548whp / 440tq, Evo IX, stock ECU!
This is the route I wish to go. I rode in a GT35R Evo IX and the spoolup is quite liveable. The power being made is just sick too. I am still a little iffy on Alky so what kind of safety precautions are you guys running? Is the Ecu tune versatile enough to accept say 21PSI and NO meth or is another map needed to replash that?
You asked for links to their turbo kits or whatever, but I think you're getting them confused with the big AMS from here: AutoMotoSports. The AMS who made this thread, Atlantic Motorsports, listed an AutoMotoSports GT35R, not their own.
Have to differentiate the like acronyms somehow. In the DC area, we refer to this shop as AMS in conversation. It was only recently that the big AMS shifted some focus to the DC area. Previously, they had no presence whatsoever, but now the AMSs work together.
You would definitely need a completely separate map for 21psi and no alky vs 30psi and alky, but that's really simple with EcuFlash and should not be a detractor.

That would be it, thank you. The reason why I asked about the flash becuase I remember a couple fo years back AL had a "Dual Stage" flash with a GT35R on an Evo NY member which ran with or without Alky and was simply boost dependent. But yes wiht my EcuFLash I can just as easilly have 2 maps.
No way, that makes no sense. If you tune for pump gas, then turn on the alky, the car will get flooded with the alky and run rich as hell while making no power. Where'd you get such a crazy idea? You can do that with race gas, but not with alky. Plus, you'd never get the benefit of the alky, so that whole suggestion makes no sense.
It may be too laggy for you, but it's certainly not laggy for a typical GT35R on a stock 2.0. Look at the torque curves - the GT35R torque curve intersects the stock torque curve at 4200rpm. That means there's only about a 500rpm section where you have less torque with the GT35R, but then the next 3000rpm, you have WAYYYYYYY more power. Not bad, imo.
very nice numbers Atlantic!
Jon from TDC told me he made a trip out there to help with the dyno setup initially, sounds like everything is working well..
we just tuned our shop 2.3 with 35R yesterday... ecuflash rocks
