Lately I've been having issues with an extremely harsh engagement so i decided to put the car up on jack stands and slowly engage the clutch and see what was going on from a stationary standpoint.

To my surprise the front driver's side wheel barely spins and can easily be stopped by hand. Instinct says its a differntial issue or maybe its an input shaft/axle problem considering i just put the tranny back on yesterday.

Does anyone know exactly whats going on?

 

open differential...there is no front LSD in the 04. Try and stop the passenger wheel and I bet the drivers wheel will start to spin.

I feel dump for even asking this in the first place. I totally forgot that i had an open front. Wow.
