i looked on turbochargers.com and they have it but they also have what says evo 8 20g and its the same price as the evo 9 turbo. it says the evo 9 turbo supports about 380hp and for the evo 8 20g it says 430hp. i dont understand what the difference is. why would people get the evo 9 turbo if that supports less power than the evo 8 20g? thanks ahead of time guys.

Because the 20g-8 sucks ***, and the IX rocks out. Don't believe everything you read on vendor websites.

also, why are you trying to buy a stock IX turbo when you have one on your car? Did yours blow? If not, then spending $1000 to upgrade yours to an 20G-LT would make more sense than purchasing a new stock IX. If you need a IX for some reason, consider getting it used. I got mine for $450 shipped, and with your IX, you don't even need the install kit.

Different thread dude - do a search. Ball bearing? Laf, it's a stock turbo that's been modified.

I agree, I bought the 20G-8 and it is a weak POS!!!!! I am about to install a stock EVO IX turbo tomorrow. I would have bought the new 20G from David but my girlfriends Bday is coming up.
