I don't want to start any arguments but after reading the OP's issue it sounds like he'd greatly benefit from a change in driving habits. I'm surprised no one mentioned anything about a tranny being in that kind of shape with such few miles.

They're the best thing about Northeast Ohio. (especially now that it's snowing )\

All of us that live in the area are so lucky to have such a great shop at our disposal.

It doesn't stop me either. I took my evo there at least 4 times in the last year from VA. (almost 900 miles round trip) and everytime I went there, they got me out of there in such a short time, I was always back in VA earlier than I thought

Now, my car is there again as well some work including Buschwacker.

Dave and Dan, with both of them, you can't go wrong when it comes to evos.

You get the reward for destroying an evos trans in the shortest amount of time?

In all seriousness I'm sure the new trans will shift like butter and get rid of all that OEM "notchyness" that occurs.

The car raced every weekend either at the track during the day or the one that is open all night . Digs, 40 roll it don't matter, but I honistly have only missed shifts a hand full of times..... that I can remember.
Ever since I got the car it has always made drivetrain noises while decelerating in 5th, so I guess it was only a matter on time.

Why is it broke... well my guess is because, it is a DSM .

Definitely not. Please don't compare an EVO drivetrain to a DSM one. You think you have a weak drivetrain now? Try doing the same thing to a DSM and see how much money and grief it costs you.

All aspects of the EVO's drivetrain components are superior to the DSM.

mike... its still a DSM

I stopped by Buschurs again today to pay my bill and visit my parents, cause they have been in Florida all winter, they were loving the snow .
He showed me were the gears were rounded cause he felt the clutch I had (exedy stage 2) was not fully releasing all the way

He showed me the damage and talked me into a Triple Exedy clutch

Thanks Dan for the hook up on the clutch

Plus you gotta have, a good clutch for the HTA 35r right

No I don't have it, still waitng on David and Robert

Do you see a problem when I have removed the trans twice at only 6k?

Jarod... lets work on what we talked about when you answer the phone
