Turn around time for a Green?
Turn around time for a Green?
hey whats up fellas, i had a quick question for you "Green" turbo people. About how long did it take for you people that sent your stock turbo in to get the green?
sent mine in last week and arrived on monday.

I would suggest calling forced performance in order to actually speak to someone there about your particular turbo. At this time as far as I know these turbo's are in high demand and there for so are the parts. Call forced and talk to someone there. It's better to hear an answer directly from the source anyways.
Im gonna have to agree with mudduck.. the turn around time is a wait.. Its been three weeks for mine.. so, be patient or call if you need to calm the nerves.. good luck though.

yeah thats what i thought, it takes roughly around 3-4 weeks no matter what option you choose, oh and no IX here, i have a VIII. Im waiting cuase in the end it will be worth the wait, the downtime just sucks real bad!
For the people with evo8 is $999, evo9 turbo $849. What is suggest doing so you have no down time with your car is actually paying the $300 core charge. So you pay $1300, they will send you the FPGREEN, install it and send them yours back...now if you send them evo8 you get $300 back and if you send back evo9 you get back$450.....is that simple........and yes, turn around time is 3 to 4 weeks!

Hes talking about with a core. So if you send in your evo8 turbo, you only pay the 1k.
Im thinking the 850 plus core charge is a better way to go, I was just going to pay the 1700 for the new one then sell mine. But IX turbos are only going for about 600, so I would lose 200 going that route. I'll just pay the core charge then send mine back to them.
