What do you guys think about all poly mounts

My evo 9 is slowly starting to turn into a beast im at 343 whp and I have GSC S1 cams on the way. My car is daily driven and I wanted to know what your opinons are on stiffing up the engine. I am considering runing all poly motor mounts. I am fine with feeling some extra vibrations but i dont wanna feel like im riding on a jack hammer. What do you think i should do?

I upgraded my front lower mount to the Agency power mount. It makes a considerable difference. The stock mounts hole is a lot bigger than the bolt that goes through it and the mount is rubber so there is a lot of play during hard shifts or when letting off the gas after hard accelerattion causing the car to feel jerky. The Agency power mount's hole is the same size as the bolt and uses a delrin bushing which they say is harder than poly. With the Agency power mount it made the car more enjoyable to drive and I tried launching with the new mount and got better results. There is some slight vibration at idle, which really isn't that bad. for a little over $100 I would recommend this mod.

Poly bushings (particularly more than one) in the engine bay can certainly stiffen up the motor location, but they're very hard, and you'll feel MUCH more vibration than you did before.

i have the powerflex front motor mount and love it. there is some additional steering wheel vibration at idle for the first 2 weeks (or when its cold out) but thats it. the benifits far outway ocassional steering wheel vibration at idle.

Powerflex motor mounts FTW! I have all 4 in my car and love it. Vibrations are hardly noticeable, and that is will a full set of poly suspension bushings too. . .

Sounds good guys thanks for the help. I think im going to end up going with AMS poly bushing for the top 3 mounts and agency for my lower. The AMS side mounts are a slightly softer poly then there front one which should limit the vibrations.

Did your mounts get rid of the notchyness (is that even a word) in the trany?

The poly front motor mount replacement is a good choice. It will not get rid of your notchiness in the shifting, but will definitely help in high rev shifting. Nothing will totally get rid of the notchiness as that is an Evo trait.

when the AC is on however, the car vibrates a lot more on idle. When it's off, you can barely feel the difference. i've forgotten that i have them on in less then a week.
