Meth Question
this is all relative to what i stated above...alky is slightly corrosive as well, theres no such thing as non corrosive with regards to meth and alky, just a scale of which is more than the other...
I ran upwards of 28deg of timing on 50% meth and trapped 114-116 regularly on stock turbo with no issues, i played with timing up and down and different mixes and nozzle sizes and guess what, still trapped 114-116 with the occasional 117 due to tire spin...

I would go with a 70/30 mix...at least you don't have to worry about it being highly flammable/volatile and still get the power. 50/50 is nice, but not as nice as a higher meth mix...and it's definetly not corrosive.
just on meth or the other magical goodies
Man, decisions decisions....either 70/30 or 100%....
At 70/30 it will still be just as corrosive as 100% denatured alcohol
So, is there that big of a difference between mixing meth and water over just pure meth as far as being corrosive...

Exagerations, speculations and missleading info. I am still waiting to see an actually methanol pump kit to fail due to corrosion, please show me.
Methanol might be corrosive but as mentioned before people like to exagerate. The methnaol kits have tough components, the lines are stain steel braided, the tank is hard plastic and will never corrode, the nozzle is made of brass and I never see corrosion on them and as far is the pump it might have a rubber base seal but you can drop a tablespoon of Klootz oil in your meth tank if you are concern.
We need to stop fueling the fear with the methanol usage, it is not as harmful as the people think. There are many ways around(90 meth-10 water) 50 meth-50 water) and you can also use pure Alcohol.
Go and buy your methanol kit because I predict that nothing will happen. Trevor has been running methanol/alcohol on his dodge Stealth for 7 years and never had any issues. And who is Trevor?
