Wow, so you never changed the timing belt/tensioner at 60K?

That's awesome that it never skipped a tooth/teeth under boost

Timing belt was changed at 60k and again at 85k when I had the timing gears put on.
Hence:
FWIW, the tensioner had 101,000 miles on it and two re-compressions when it finally gave up
The first re-compression of the hydraulic tensioner @ 60k, and the second at 85k.

I'm lucky it never hopped a tooth under boost. No argument there.
