Does anyone know what kind of signal goes to the solenoid? Is it a pulsed signal? The solenoid obviously controls flow to cam. But how? Pulsing the flow would be one possibility. Would act like a fuel injector but would be controlling oil volume instead. Another possibility would be it gets a varied voltage signal. less voltage = less flow, and more voltage =higher flow.
