Well the clutch is a bit hard as compared with HKS Twin Plate GD MAX...but it gets a little better after driving..
As for the performance it holds great!
I like it...
Previously i had burned 2 HKS Twin Plate GD MAX and not on this sort of power...
But this clutch is holding up pretty well!

I've got a few friends with Evo 9's running the Carbonetics triple.

One thing I've noticed is when dragging, they do have a hard time shifting second. They are not mis-shifting... they say it just butts when trying to pull it and they are pulling hard.

I'm not sure if this issue is directly related to the clutch, but just pointing it out. Could be an installation issue, or something else. I dunno.

How are you Carbonetics users finding the shift to second at high rpms?

I was looking at getting the Twin Carbonetics a few weeks ago, but after reading some of the horror stories about them I went with a Cusco.

From what I have seen I would stick with Exedy/Daikin.

I have the HKS GD max and the pedal gets all grabby and hard after a couple of runs...won't recommend it for anything above 350whp. If your'e interested in carbonetics though, there are three different clutches being offered by them i.E soft type (CM23236-14), standard type (CM23230-14) and also the type R (CM23235-14) . I believe the one that 'Evo 7' is using is the standard type.
