582 WHP with Pump + Alky on Flash!

We have pretty much finished building my car. Initially I had a 35r with stock block. I have since added a PT67BB and a 2.3.

My 2.3 was bulit by 94awdcoupe (Jerry). The motor is rock solid. I have put over 30k miles on the motor and have not had any issues. The torque added by the 2.3 was well worth the cost.

I had John (Jestr) perform the tuning duties on my vehicle. We hit a max of 582 whp and 470 tq. This was done with 93oct gas and meth with the A/F being in the mid 10's. There was absolutley no knock whatsoever. We did almost 20 dyno runs back to back trying to get this done and it was EXTREMELY hot.

We could have acheived more HP, however the wastegate (tial 38mm) would not hold any more boost (36psi). With another few psi, im sure we could have hit 600+ hp with the flash. I have the stock MAF in place (with some type of strong adhesive) and the Stock ECU.

I am very happy with the performance of my vehicle and the numbers it has put out.

So, can I hit 650 whp with the stock ECU? Im thinking of adding larger cams, a ported intake manifold, larger throttle body, porting the head, and changing the wastegate so I can hold a few more psi. Hopefully that will do it along with a little c16.

I must also mention that I drive this car 200 miles daily. This is a true daily driver. John has the car idling very well even with the 1000 cc injectors / hks 280s.

I really want to thank Jerry for all of his hard work with my car, answering my questions, and waking up at 8AM on a Saturday to assist with my boost leak test.

I also want to thank John for all of his time and patience tuning the car. It cant be easy to get such a big turbo to run so smoothly with the stock ECU.

All of my Mods are in my SIG....

Thanks Guys!

Great #'s! I bet that thing is a beast when full boost hits! How streatable do you think it's going to be running 200 miles a day? That's the only thing that worries me if I go big! Mine is also a daily driver.

I am immpressed. I beleive thats a new record for stock mass horsepower. Also on aerocomps AWD mustang dyno. Didn't think it would do much over 550 through the stock mass. So are we now happy with the 67mm?

LOL... Yes Sir! Thanks again

I do think someone hit 589 a few months back on the stock mass... I may be wrong... Also, i think the dyno was reading dynojet numbers.. Not exactly sure how that works. It is a mustang dyno...

Holy crap man. That is freakin awesome. Im glad you got the numbers you were wanting, but now its time to meet me at Jerry's house for a ride.

EDIT: You also forgot to mention that the head is completely stock with a stock intake manifold. Again, very impressive numbers. Keep it up.

This kit was modified by 94awdcoupe. He mentioned some fitment / quality issues when we first installed but he corrected them. Not exactly sure if any of this mods freed up additional HP... Don't sell just yet ;-)
