GSC S1 -GSC280(older model)

I just ordered gsc 280s. the older version and was just wondering how they compare to the s1. I know the S1 $#!+ all over the hks 272s. I was just wondering how the 280s do on spool up and top end compared to both the hks 272s, 280s and/or the gsc S1s, anyone switch over and how did you like either ? I've done searching and it's mainly s1 vs hks . . . any comparisons on gsc vs helix or comp ?

the 280s will make about the same peak power as the S1 cams. the lift and 1mm's are very close. actually .1mm more lift and 4degree's more durration at 1mm than the S1s. the 280s will spool a touch slower do to the larger over all durration maybe 400-500 rpms and will net around the same peak power. I recomend 280s to people with 50 trim and 3076s kits to use the 280s. For those that have the GSC 280s we have suggested them to stay with them rather than buying a set of S1 cams; the GSC 280s arnt going to give them $530 worth of gains over the 280s..

i don't have any comparision graphs of hks 272 vs our 280s someone did do hks280s vs our 280s and found 20-25whp

I read the S1s vs HKS 272s and it just spooled up the turbo a lot quicker it seems that or just had a lot better mid range to it, do you think S1s or S2s would have been better for a FP3065 to help spool ?

on a large turbo yes, peak whp but we're talking smaller turbos and turbos of all sizes in comparison. maybe cams tohelp spool up and creat a higher mid range. but thanks, as read in a previous post by buschur where he made 40whp over other cams on something like a 35r @ 35psi. . . . .

to be as specific as possible i'm most definetly going with a50trim, 3065, or smallest a FP-Green althought I'm aware again different cams would be better on each suitable turbo. I'm just looking for the difference.
