well i'm planning to finish off my TBE. i'm running the hks carbon ti cat back right now. i'm in the market for a downpipe and test pipe. what do you guys recommend? ii was told by a shop that the perrin downpipe and the invidia test pipe are pretty good. just wanted to get other opinions. any suggestions would be great. thanks.

 

I run 3"Agency Power DP and 3" Perrin TP.

I love it and makes good power.

Your call though honestly, not going to be any huge difference between DP's and especially on TP's.

 

do you throw a check engine light with a test pipe? will you pass emissions? Sorry for the thread jack im just curious. .

 

just about anything will do. You might also want to think about 3" resonated test pipes if you have concerns about sound

 

DC sports DP/TP is the bomb. Both pieces in one sweet unit.

i recently just installed an invidia 3" ss downpipe. i'm real happy with it. it fit real nice after i shimmed the lower arm brace with a couple washers so it would clear.

as a side note, you can get the downpipe off without removing the undertray, but i had stack 3 rachet extensions together to be able to reach it. but it saved me 30 - 45 mins of removing all those little pop-it clips.

i went with a perrin high flow cat instead of a test pipe.

Road Race Engineering "Rally Cat" FTW!!! Its a resonated test pipe with heat shields. It will pass visual inpection as a cat.
