Not true!

I run my car on straight 94 octane for daily driving and 22-23psi. My car is still fun and powerful. Like that.... my car made 398whp on our Mustang dyno. I do NOT run alcohol. Everyone has their preference and that is mine. I run straight 94 octane or straight race gas. Would it make more power and be even more fun to drive? Yes im sure it would. I just didnt want the hassle of messing with filling the reservoir, worrying about it not spraying, etc...

Like I said on STRAIGHT 94 octane my car makes 398whp and on C16 it put down 505whp. At 4400rpm I will hit 20psi.

My car does not fall off on power to be honest. It pulls HARD all the way through. You can see on the dyno graphs that it makes power until you lift off of the gas.

If you want something "close to stock" lag I would recommend the 20G-9LT. It flows just as much air as a 50 trim and its quite a bit cheaper. The revolver cams you have though I really dont think would pair up nice with anything under the 3065.

If you have any questions about this turbo please feel free to ask. I'll be glad to lend a hand. I was the first person to try/run this turbo on an Evo.

My car made 415 @24psi dynodynamics and 500 @28psi on C16 with a flash. I'm going to the AEM this week and expect to make 25 more at 24 and 30-40 more at 28

full boost is around 5k

2.0L Eclipse GSX, HKS 272's, headstuds/MLS gasket as far as motor work...FP3065 with 44mm TiAL, custom 3" o2 and a turboback and all proper supporting mods, I get 22psi by 3900rpms. Evo has a much better flowing head and higher compression (8.3:1 vs. 8.8:1 on the Evo), you'll spool that turbo on the Evo sooner.

I just have our drop in pistons and rods. Not a "full" stage 3 block. I normally leave the shifting point up to the customer. I do not want to be responsible for someone breaking their car so its really at your own discretion. I will give my recommendation though.

I have shifted mine over 8000 at the track numerous times and close to 8000 on the street. As long as you have a good tune it shouldnt be an issue especially with forged internals. Stock block I would be a bit weary.

We have seen the stock rod bolts stretch so high revving and big power does have the chance to cause issues on the stock block (or any block for that matter). I was not affraid to do it. If it breaks it needed fixed anyway.

With a forged bottom end 8000 will not be an issue. Our stage 3 block has revved to 9500 and a bit higher. I did rev my stock block to 8000 while making 462 on our dyno. Was it a good decision? Probably not. Its a good chance the stock rod could have caused some damage. Would I recommend it to a customer? No not really. Thats the customers decision.

The shops DD is calibrated similiarly to that of a dynojet. I hate dyno racing, I really do but just wanted to let you know.

I also really hate how they call themselves "THE SHOP", they might be good guys but that name really bothers me.

Must be an anomaly cause no one else in the dsm community makes that much pressure that early. Ive followed the fp3052.fp3056 since their debuts a couple years ago and that is not the norm.

He must be guestimating where it starts to spool by looking at his boost guage and not checking his logs. 3900 is like 5th gear under load with a stroker type stuff.
