Stainless Steel Exhaust Studs?

Anyone have experience with these? Obviously, it wouldn't seem like something you'd replace on a whim, but if you had the head off and apart I think it would make more sense. No more rusty gross exhaust studs is a plus but what about the heat characteristics of the ss?

Opinions? Experiences?

I'm pretty sure ARP has some studs for the exhaust manifold. I'm not 100% sure what material they are but, they are an application specific design so I'm sure they would spec out an appropriate material.

Edit: I can't find them in their catalog but, I'm almost positive our ARP said they had them.

SS exhaust studs

It is not a difficult install. I put them in when I installed a ported exhaust manifold. I doubt that it is even a 1 hour job.

i definitely think it'd be worth it. should make things alot easier for you down the road if you need to take the manifold off again ever. looks nicer than rusty ones too so that's also a benefit.

I bought mine from lancershop.

They hold up just as well if not better than the stock ones and since their stainless steel, if I ever need to take them back out I'll have less of a change snapping them or have the bolt rust onto the stud.

ssstuds.com has been providing a wide variety of ss studs to the DSM community for several years at much lower prices that some other outlets. Give them a try.
