CAM idle issues

Im pretty interested in the HKS cams I see being tested by some companies here.... I was wondering what the IDLE problems were, how to fix and what other "side affects"... EPA, Emissions with stock exhaust(pass?) etc....

Any time you go with lumpy cams, you are going to have a rough idle. Basically, since idle is "Closed loop" on any OBD car, you are just going to have to live with the ECU trying to run it. Or, you could always keep your foot on the gas to raise the idle RPM!

I heard that the 272 cams were not too bad?

Emissions...as long as you retain all of you stock catylizers, you should be fine.
