Wink Ultimate turbo

So I am going to get a turbo kit soon, and I am looking for the best turbo. I want:

1. The 3000 rpm spool of a TME.
2. Pump gas ability of a BB 50 Trim.
3 Top end and boost ability of a 42R.

So what do you think I should get?

(This is a joke for the dense people)

So when is someone going to put in a Variable Turbine Geometry Borg Warner in an Evo?

Yes, I'm thinking of the Porsche Turbo, only a bit bigger. Does any one have any info on this line of turbos, how is the variable geometry implemented. What type of controls would I have to use for something like this.

For a while it sounded like the Green was going to be your turbo. It's a great turbo upgrade, but all the hype had it with stock spool and 35R power. Not quite the 42R power with stock spool you're looking for but the hype was close.

So the consenus is that the 20GLT lives up to the hype? Haven't seen many dyno numbers/track times confirming that from unsponsored members.

*By living up to the hype I mean producing considerable gains over a stock IX turbo

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic and suggesting the hype outweighed the results...

Easy fix.........run a twin turbo setup........a FP GREEN on the 1st and 2nd exhaust banks and a 42R on the 3rd and 4th exhaust banks. You'll have your low end spool and top end pull all in one.

Already been done. It's called sequential turbos. Check with the RX-7 forum before you jump in with both feet.

Too much complexity, but the idea does sound good on paper and while bench racing.

This might even bring peace to the world if it ever hits the aftermarket. It would be the best of both worlds, IMHO, and it even works as an alternator!

Ha! That looks like a PS2 port! Do you control vane geometry with a mouse or keyboard?

PS2.... pfffft! It comes with a Wii tether you insert in your anus-canalus. The more you... uh... pucker... the less boost you get!

I can't compare it to the 9 turbo, but it made about 60 whp over the 8 turbo on pump at one of the local shops in Austin. They were very impressed and are definately not a "sponsered" shop. I would guess it would make at least 30 whp and probably more like 40 or so, on the 9, but that is only a guess. It isn't a stock spooling 35R , but it is a nice upgrade from what I've seen.
