Won't start HELP!

I just got home from work, turned the car off, got the mail, got back in and the engine won't even turn over. All electrical power in car is gone. When I press the remote lock button nothing happens. This came out of no where as the car was running perfectly until now. I had to manually lock all doors and walk back to my apt. Is this probably a dead battery or alternator?

Check the fuse's, or maybe a bad ground. I've never heard of a battery just completely dying.

Ok, the negative battery terminal connection is cracked. When I wiggled it around the electriciy came back on in the car (open door beep, power windows, etc) but when I try to turn the car on it clicks but dies. No power again until I fiddle with the neg connection and same thing. Finally someone jumped me off and the car started. But the Anti-Lock brake light came on briefly and as I drove the car it almost died on me. Also the interior light was blinking in intensity.

I checked all fuses in the engine fuse box, none looked blown. Could all this be from a dead battery, or a dead battery and a bad negative battery connection?

Its all from the bad ground (- connection). Fix your ground and you should be fine.
