20g9-lt mods + tune
does any of you guys have any of these similar mods with a tune? how much power are you making, peak? how is the mid-range?
20g9-lt
up to 880cc injectors
272/272 cams, hks, buddy club, etc.
cam gears (would like to know your settings)
walbro fuel pump
TBE
23+psi boost
stock intake box and piping
upgraded intercooler
upgraded valvesprings and retainers
I was thinking i should make at least 360whp with these mods at 26 psi 92 oct. what do you guys think? possible? easily possible? i want to break into the 11's this year.

you should be able to get 360whp on the stock turbo with the right combination of parts. there is no point in upgrading the turbo before you do everything you can on the stock turbo
hint: intake or drop in with modded airbox, e-bay o2, fr manifold or stock ported manifold, IC pipes (at least the lower one)
Combined, the above parts would probably give you as much power as a green would without them on pump gas, while slightly improving your spool instead of making it slightly worse... they would also cost less/same as the green even if you decide to go with the FR manifold

well, i do also have the lower intercooler pipe. stock upper piping is fine to me. stock airbox is also fine. i've know a couple evo guys up here in MN running stock airboxes 330whp aprox. with stock upper piping. i do have the K&n drop-in though.

i have been searching for a while now. i just haven't found anyone running the stock airbox and upper piping with k&n drop-in filter. i really don't think changing out the intake would make that much a difference. just probably would suck in more hot air and really mess up the afr's.
You dont need valve springs and retainers with HKS 272s or Buddy clubs or GSCs.
You also should definitely not be runnign near 26psi on anything less than 100octane with alcohol injection. 360whp is stock turbo power.

well, i did get the valvesprings and retainers, its a buschur set. i also know a guy up here in MN, similar setup but with intake and a upper ic pipe set with 20g-lt tuned on 92 oct at 26.5 psi. making 365whp and 360+ trq. he tuned it himself, probably didn't get the best out of it though, but just proving it's possible on 92 oct.

yeah, i probably will tune it on 24-25 psi on 92 oct but i'm getting 2 tunes. the other one is going to be on 100 unleaded 28 psi. well, like i stated first, i hope i make at LEAST 360 to the wheels. anyone still think it's possible?
Um why the laughing? I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or what. It is common knowledge you do not need or even come close to needing springs and retainers with HKS, GSC or Buddy Club 272s.
I think youre missing the point. Youre not going to make any more power running 25psi on 92 than you are at 23psi on 92. All youre doing is reducing the timing (killing power) to run more boost. There is a happy medium between the two which on 93-93 octane on this sized turbo is around 23psi. Anything more and its a stalemate only youll be running higher EGT's.
360whp can be done a a stock turbo on pump gas, so yeah you better make 360whp on a Green. I made 18whp more on the stocker, but I think I was the highest ever so I am not a good comparison.
