I put down 262 with a hks intake. Then Alamo Autosports reflashed and i put down 269. Remember that EVERYTHING else is stock and the car only has 570 miles on it. What do you think?

wat kind of dyno? and what does a stock 9 put down on that specific dyno...then maybe some peeps will comment..usually stock 9's are around 240-250whp so u gained around 20-30 whp which seems pretty good but all depends on that dyno

It's a good idea that you got a tune for your intake upgrade.
Like others said, should've waited till at least for a turbo-back...maybe a fp for added security with raised boost pressure, also for a broken-in motor.

yeah, we need to know what stock Evo IX's put down on that dyno.

Hopefully, it reads low, because I'm pretty sure a reflashed IX should be closer to 300whp on a dynojet; and somewhere around 330whp with tbe + mbc...

Also, may want to change your profile where it has you listed as driving a 2006 Evo 6...

It was on a dynojet. to clear things up 263 with just hks intake. Then 269 with flash. They told me that the factory exhaust and downpipe are holding me back big time. All and all i am happy with Alamo and they seem to have realy great prices on parts to.

They are full of it. ON a bone stock EVO there are proven 20+whp gains sometimes up to 30whp.

It depends on the dyno, but I'd say you were robbed. IMO, get a better tuner.
