ok lets start that the average dyno ...(spring loaded ) the evos that i have seen 6 of the stock pull 229whp average, so thats not that bad, and let me say F!!K dyno queens it doesnt matter how much peak power you have if you have a weak curve, so take it to the track and see what you think... F!!K every one elses opinion but your own

a friend of mine has a stock ix that he wanted to keep stock, just for me to tune it so he doesnt lose his warranty. He trapped 104 stock and 107 after the tune. Thats probably 25-30whp there, not sure there were obviously decimals for the mph so i dont think it was a full 3mph.

What he didnt clarify here is that this car if fact did gain @ peak power 20whp.. Remeber bone stock car cats and all. This was very conservative too since it would show knock when we got more aggressive with it. He said he was coming back for exhaust and a few things hopefully with better gas 8)

 

How is his car holding boost? Is he using an MBC?

Despite my tune, up top, the stock BCS cannot hold more boost as it still drops down to 15-16 psi (restrictor is pulled out). If you look closely at my graph, I pretty much picked up 20-30 HP everywhere in the midrange. (My car also dyno'd about 10-15 hp higher than the average IX, so I would think gains wouldn't be as high as others that dyno'd lower.)

Stock, I've trapped as high as 105.6 mph. Since I've peaked only 6 whp more, you guys really think I'll only trap ~106.2 mph?? Somehow, I doubt it since I have so much more power AUC. I'll try and get to the strip sometime next week and see what traps I can run.
