I bought the car with 5,000 miles on it and immediately started modding. I'm at 57,000 miles and have never had a problem with the car except for having to do the routine maintenance. You'll have more power with the GT35 but as long as you have a good tune, and you don't beat on it, it should last quite awhile!

Good luck.
how long have you had the gt35r on there for? yea i dont plan on running big boost where the turbo really shines...we got e85 here so i will start running that daily and prolly boost around 24 psi i will be happy around the 400whp mark and i want at lot of top end for highway pulls! i know i will have drivetrain problems if i start launching my car

As long as you have a good, reliable tune and you keep an eye on your oil pressure / level, you should be fine. Oil pressure has gotten me twice! I would invest in an oil pressure / temperature guage.

Good Luck
