Your "Transfer Case" is going bad...

I've read that it makes a grinding noise...

I'm not very good with engine/drive drain stuff.

All i know is my car whines...its louder than it used to be.
Whines when i down shifts, lets say from 4th> 3rd > 2nd.
Doesn't sound like the turbo..turbo whistles. It whines ALOT when cold, lil less when warmed up. I've launched it a few times, 5-6x, 2x = clutch burns.

Am I just paranoid or this some kind of drive train issue?
