Fuel pressure line for nitrous
I filled the bottle up took it for a test run and same crap. sounds like backfire out of the exhaust and no power from the wet shot??? whats up everything seems to be wired right and hoses to there proper location.?? somebody help.
bottle pressure at 150? Most kits are setup to use bottle pressure between 950 and 1050, you have to check with Zex to be sure.. you will need a bottle heater to make the pressure correct on most days.
If the bottle pressure is low, you will inject too much fuel and not enough nitrous, therefore running rich. Check the bottle pressure, if low see if you can get it filled, did you buy the kit used?
By the way, in the event the bottle pressure gets too high, you will have too much nitrous and run lean... so it helps to have a nitrous pressure gauge inline with the bottle. mine goes in the trunk right on the bottle. I have a heater from www.dynotunenitrous.com, it is adjustable to keep the pressure in the operating range.

preasure as it about 650 right after fill up. I have a bottle warmer so I'll try that today. Yea I bought it used. also I placed mine about 8 inches from the throttle boddie. where did you guys?
No offense meant at all but you dont sound like you know nearly enough about nitrous to just slap it on and go. I would have someone familiar with nitrous and installations look over your install and give you some tips in person before you have problems.
dude, I wanted help, and there were none around. I have read the manual very carefully from zex.com I do know what your saying. I am learning as I go. I also just orderd a purge kit just in case its in the line.
I have to agree with him pac, you need to read anything you can find on nitrous before you try to spray it again, I see the zex instructions on their website don't give bottle pressure recommendations, besides maybe reading some of the other manufactures websites, you might want to call them for more specifics on it. If I were you, I'd start with the smallest shot you can until you know for sure it's working. Also, if you haven't switched out to ngk br8es plugs yet, do it now... you need colder plugs with nitrous.

I believe those are iridiums correct? I know platinums are a no-no, but I have also heard mixed results from iridiums as well. Copper cheapees are probably the safest but that is just my opinion.
I would have helped if you were closer!!

Copper for performance, some will disagree and say iridium, but they've always worked for me, and at the added bonus of being cheaper.......... just check them and change them a little more often, they'll be worth it.
Platinums suck.

I think he should call zex and get the specifics
