dude tune your**** before you drive anymore. seriously.. if you were in the 12:1 AFR range before the 255 your prolly in the low 10's or high 9's.. seriously.
don't waste your money racing the car before you tune it.
Also are you using racegas to spray on? Logging anything? and is your boost staying set at what it was before?

+1, you have no idea what that car is doing without logging knock and a wideband, it's bad enough when a car has mods it isn't tuned for, but if you throw unmetered fuel (Zex kit) into the equation, ?????
Also, another reason I had for suggesting the br8es's would be if you're not tuned, it means you don't know where the timing is... rule of thumb is 1 degree of timing pulled back for every 50 HP of nitrous... if you're not gonna do that, you need colder plugs for sure

Im not tuned yet. I was debating just a base flash or e85 tune from ams.
I thought that zex wet kit works better without a(chip) or advanced timing.
Also if I put race gas in the car, will it even help not being tuned for it?
I'm going to the track toomorow. hopefully I'll do better that 13.9 at 95mph with a 1.8 6oft.
Now I'll have 65 shot and fuel pump. 3 inch tbb with test pipe, intake, what should I expect?

Mr PAC turn off the nitrous and get the car tuned now. By a professional . Then have them set the damn thing up correctly on the nitrous. Then go learn some patience before you even go near a track. And make sure you have plenty money in the bank to cover your broken < insert expensive EVO parts here> for when they break because you wont listen and you <will> race the car in a completely dangerous condition.

okay, I understand what your saying but how can I blow something up if the zex wet kit has a brain box that wont let me go to righ or too lean? WHy wouldnt they say you need to get a chip or tuned.. They advise against that actually. I'm hearing different things. I really didnt feel a huge gain from the shot. I wouldnt go past 50 shot right now until I do get it tuned. I was also told that p and L would not most likely want to tune it if Im spraying. please be patient with me. I do know cars, i'm not a complete noob.
Ok, first of all, the Zex "brain box" obviously doesn't work, otherwise you wouldn't have had the "all fuel-no nitrous' experience
The "chips" they are referring to are not comparable to tuning by a professional.
You do not need to be tuned for race gas, your car will not blow up from having too much octane and if you're spraying you can use it for an extra step of precaution.
Of course people get tuned for race gas to get the most power out of it, but here we're just using it to keep the spark knock away
