yea i have no idea y it didnt fit the only thing i know is that it was the headache of my afternoon n now the bracket is cut off so my pain is most likely over. i will update wit pics soon

 

It almost sounds like Nisei sent you an upper pipe for the '03-'04 model Evo. Was the bracket that you cut off long like the bracket on the lower pipe or was it short and more of a box shape bracket?

 

same here, I had no fitment issues, everything went in very smothly

you had the wrong year pipe... how did that happen? did you buy this used? or did not specify your model year evo?

 

yea i got it used...i was unaware of a difference works fine now tho

Yeah, I think if you'd have called Nisei or even taken a look at their site you would have found out you have the wrong year. There is a thread showing the difference between the 03'/04' versus the 05'-and later years.

Nisei has two seperate kits, one for earlier years of the EVO and one for later years with the ACD. When you purchased it you would have needed to specify which one..... That determines the bracket placement on the pipe.
