modified bumper needed for nisei intercooler?

Do i need to modify my bumper with this intercooler? I installed it today and when putting the bumper back on i cant get it to fit right, it seems like it almost fits

I had the same issue... if you look at the back of the bumper, you'll notice the mesh is folded over and comes back quite far. I had to trim the back of the mesh a little and some of the mesh support. Mine was rubbing on the endtanks.

ok i definatley had to cut some minor pieces to get this bumper to fit...i cut where the two bottom screws are the one behind the license plate and other side...the bracket was rubbing against the fmic so it wouldnt fit flush. after that it went on pretty good undertray does need to be cut a lil bit as well. ill post pics a little later

Yup, same for me... it was really easy to do. It's a nice core - picked up quite a bit of boost due to it and their piping. Too bad I have to sell it

but it lookes nice.. i saw it on a cwest front and it looked sexy
