Send it in you should not have any problems with them. My friend had the unfortunate luck of receiving a bad IC as well. He pressure tested it before he installed it and it leaked. He sent it back to them and they sent him a brand new one that worked great. They paid for everything and he now runs 11.2 on it

Buschur Racing needs to start pressure testing intercoolers and IC piping before shipping. The customers shouldn't have to do their own pressure testing. It's good that they take care of problems identified by customers, but the problem should have been caught before it left the door.

To everyone saying we need to pressure test our cores, WE DO. As you can read from his post he made 380 on the dyno, it worked fine, he then went out on a road test and that is where something went wrong. Also, for the guy who said they should wave the shipping, I DID and we will reimburse him for the shipping back or send the new fmic with a call tag either way. The price I am charging him is for the new fmic only, untill we get the original one back to inspect. Thank you. Jose, I will give you call once I get your fmic out of here . I am very sorry however for this inconvenience but, we will get you taken care of.

I bought a deluxe unit a couple years ago brand new. I found leaks in the welds on the cooler and the included lower IC pipe when I pressure tested it before hitting the road.

That was a couple of years ago and we may have just missed that one. It is human nature to error and that is most likely what that was. We pressure test each unit before it leaves the shop.

Is it just my perception or is this how a lot of people conduct their business now ? What I mean is ... wouldn't it make sense as a consumer to offer whatever company you have a problem with the first shot at making things right before you post on a public forum . If they take care of it properly then post how great their customer service was or if they boned you then post that information . Why the great rush to ask opinions of people that may have never done business with the concerned company . Obviously people that have done business may offer up their experience , but it just seems that is the *** backward way to conduct any business with any company . I'm not hating , it just seems like a weird way to go through life . I've never purchased anything from Buschur Racing , but if I had and had a problem I would give them every opportunity to make things right before I asked a public opinion poll as to how they conduct their business . Just my .02 ! the internet can be a great forum and a strange bizarre forum ! ROCK ON !!

I agree w/ t51, it's standard protocol to make sure no foul play was involved by first inspecting it. I'm sure they will make the correct decision after they look over the unit.

+1 to cultus

Its better to give a vendor the benefit of the doubt and let them try and fix something before you go on the forum and complain.... now if you dont get results from going to them first the forum can be a great tool to shine the *whattya doin* light on them

Either way big for BR for handling this
