just in.....GT4094R

well i finally got my new turbo for my build up that i'm currently working on for my IX. it's the new gt4094r from garrett. it flows 85lbs per min. and i'm packing a .95 divided turbine housing. this new compressor cover from garrett is quite big in comparision(sp) to what i'm used to seeing. i didn't have alot of time today for some in depth pics but i did get a few!

enjoy

please excuse the crappy pics. i'll post some better ones in the next couple of days!

Nice now make your turbo kit get it in the car dyno it and post numbers.
Thats after you spend a penny in supporting mods.

i'm running dnp's t4 manifold. i posted a thread about it on here somewhere.

i'll be running a 2.0 litre but as of right now i'm undecided on which assembly i'm going with. since i'm getting the cosworth head i'll probably run thier block as well.

i was told by "dn" that there was plenty of room for a 3.00" down pipe while keeping the a/c intact. i'm taking the car down next month so i'll let everybody know real soon.

If you going to be doing Cosworth shortblock and from what i see you don't really have a problem with money, just get their 2.2 liter shortblock with the billet crankshaft!

From what i know you can rev it VERY HIGH, plus you have the benefit of the extra 0.2 liter displacement...

And buy the whole thing from them all at once... They can asseble it, check it and ship it to you and then its just a drop-in...

You are building the exact same setup that i want!!!

What type of intake manifold will you use? I would go with an 8 injector setup!

Good luck with the project...

"WhOa"...... that 2.2 litre is a high S.O.B!

i'm gonna run the HK$ intake or possibly full-races unit. i'm still leaning towards the HK$ though but i'm having a hard time finding one.
