Head Gasket??

hey guys..my tuner is planning to tune my car for 1.8 bar on pump 94 oct.thats about 26 psi spike then holding at about 23~24psi...he has an evo back in singapore...he has been running that settup for quite some time now however he is recommending i get a thicker head gasket...i am not sure about that..


what do you guys think.

I don't think you would have to change anything with a stock turbo because most people don't run much more boost over stock setting. Once the turbo is swapped and they run a little more boost, they generally replace the head studs/bolts with ARP studs/bolts (whatever the 4G63 has) along with the head gasket.
