car is a 06 ix mr. Pull into gas station. Get gas. Go to pull away and the car is stuck in gear. Seems like between first and second. The car will drive though. Left it in the gas station down the street from my house. I am checking if its anything stupid before i get it towed.

 

Make sure the shift cables are connected to the underhood brackets/bushings.

 

Between first and second would be neutral? I have had my shifter linkage pop off of the rubber bushing under the hood. Id say check that area fist.

 

does the shifter feel loose? thats how you can tell if the shifter cable popped off.
