I just read a tread where the guy went back to the stock intercooler and he was making like 400+ to the wheels....Im gonna see what I can do on the stock IC....as far as pipes go I have a LICP but have not installed it....Im gonna get UICP and then do all of it

Dont cheap out and not get the intercooler., that is essential. You can make power on the stock intercooler but youll make a lot more on a better one. No one really fast uses the stock intercooler.

I will end up with the nessi or however you spell it. But I think the guy was making like 425 WHP on the stock IC....kinda crazy.

You should get a .78a/r T3 twin scroll turbine housing from Full Race, and put it on a 50trim. I'm 99% sure it should bolt up.

I would imagine it would spool faster than a green and make a little more power.

You would need a custom divided T3 manifold, and new downpipe and lower intercooler piping at the least. But, it would be an awesome setup.

So what? He could have made a lot more with a good aftermarket one.

Does anyone have info on a twin-scroll GT30 setup yet? I keep hearing rumours, but no hard numbers anywhere...

I actually might jump in with the Borg S256 if I was gonna do that. My buddy has a DNP T3 mani....really thinking about it. No one has posted results about it...I just THINK it would work good.

the stock IC is good for around up to 400whp, the only problem is heat soak if you're road racing or driving around in hot weather. the aftermarket IC will limit this better than stock, but it won't neccessarily make more power on a single dyno pull or quarter mile run until you're over 400 probrably.

On paper, yes, but no one has ponied up any results on an evo with this frigging turbo. I think the S256 is rated at around 56lbs/min so it could have that extra hair of ooomf over the 50 trim some people (me at least) think is a perfect blend of power and spool. Oil cooling only plus journal bearings aren't deal breakers but does temper my enthusiasm a bit. Well, that and the lack of hard data...

Perfect turbo for me= BB, 56lbs/min, twin scroll, oil and water cooled.

The only one I've seen is the GT35 kit. Nothing on a GT30... Twin scroll on a GT3076 might be exactly what I'm looking for ... not that I'm complaining about my current setup, but if I could have slightly earlier spool with better topend ... it never ends, does it?

Drifto did that, a .78a/r T3 twin scroll 3076r, there's info on it in a thread or two.

Maybe more at http://www.mpfab.com
