Advice!!! clutch issue with Exedy twin
Mine does the same exact thing with a freshly new rebuilt tranny, brand new twin disk, new TOB and still on the stock line with the pill. Have the new SS line about to through it on there if i can ever get away from my r6
. I found that putting it into first or a couple other gears before trying to put it in reverse helps slow the synchros and makes reverse alot easier to get into.

Lubing the input shaft splines only helps to get the inout shaft to slide into the clutch discs easier when trying to re-install the transmission. Otherwise they serve no purpose because the discs are fixed on the input shaft
Some people (including myself) lube what I call the Input Shaft cover, which is what the TOB slides on. Its not absolutley neccessary, but always worked fine for me.
Also, you cannot lube the splines without removing the transmission. if you installed it yourself, you know this.
I just had the dealer install my Cusco twin plate (same as exedy) and I dont have any of these problems your talking about. If the clutch install was done correctly, than I would think you still have air in the slave cylinder. You said you already adjusted the clutch and it didnt help, so that rules that out. So if it has NO air for sure, I would think there is a problem with the clutch.

any word yet?? im kinda starting to wonder if the floater is just getting stuck occasionally... The car i did the clutch in only has this issue now and then and has slowly got less frequent....
I am having a very similar problem after my recent ATS Twin CF clutch install. I also went to a pull-style assembly that came with the clutch kit from ATS. I am currently trying a few different adjustments, first at the slave cylinder and then at the pedal. I also had the SS line installed and got rid of the pil. I am interested as well on what the fix could be.. Good luck

i starting to believe that the floater isnt machined out enough... Or perhaps its getting pinned in there a little bit sideways.. I figure as the clutch is used the issue should slowly go away as the floater wears a bit... The owner of the car has reported to me that the issue is getting better and better with time and only doesnt it occasionally... A very strange issue indeed!
Mine did the same thing, I put in the ss line, removed the pill, and changed the rod, then put the car on jack-stands and adjusted the pedal till the wheels were not turning at all when the clutch was disengaged.
