Finally.. MPFab 35R Pump/Meth #s!

First off, I owe MorganPerformance Fabrication ( www.mpfab.com ) a huge thank you I should've made this thread a long time ago to show off their work but wanted to wait until my methanol kit was installed/tuned to give some numbers. Walker ( owner of shop, sn Drifto) is one of the most friendly/professional people you will ever meet and I'd recommend him to anyone. He pays close attention when fabricating his parts ensuring that everything works and works well. Walker custom built everything including the manifold, intake, IC piping, catch can, upper radiator pipe, o2 housing and downpipe. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with their work so I'll let some pictures do the talking.

I'd also like to give a big thanks to Doug at TopSpeed for the killer tune, he really knows his stuff as well. I finally got around to getting my car tuned on pump/methanol earlier today. The car made 488 whp and 379 wtq at 26 psi on pump/meth and made ~390 whp on straight pump gas 22 psi a month or so back. The car may have had some more in it but we had to stop at 26 psi because the meth nozzle (625) was maxxed out.

I've got the dynograph but no scanner and my digital camera is at work so I'll try to get someone from TopSpeed to email me it and I'll get it posted up as well.

Anyways sorry for being so long, here are the pics and mods list:

488 whp and 379 wtq @ 26 psi pump/meth
~390 whp @ 22 psi 93 oct.

*UPDATE* Here is the graph. Note the pull right before this was the 488 whp one.

MPFab GT35R Turbo "Kit" ( www.mpfab.com )
MPFab 2.5" LICP/ 3" UICP
MPFab 3" o2 housing
MPFab 3" opening to 3.5" downpipe mated to 3.5" APS test pipe and cat-back
Nisei IC
HKS 280 cams
Snow Perf. Meth kit @ 26 psi
TopSpeed Tuned Stock ECU, Stock Block

And a crappy cell pic of car currently

If anyone has any further questions about MPFab's work I'll be happy to give more feedback just PM me, thanks for looking!

Great numbers Mac!! I bet it feels retarded fast. That's really good power at only 26psi. I'd bet 550whp would be no problem at 30psi. Good job Doug!

From what I've heard Topspeed's particular DJ is on the lower side of typical DJ numbers. Mac said they told him that 390whp on their dyno is good for 121 traps. Car was built with the intention of using meth so super high pump numbers weren't ever really a concern either.

dynojets can not be tampered with as far as i am aware of , so this doenst really make any sense to me.

Like Drifto said my intentions were to run methanol so it didn't matter that much but Doug told me that he typically saw 370-410whp on pump 35R Evos so mine was about right. Nevertheless, it REALLY woke up with the methanol and I couldn't be happier

Actually they can easily be tampered with ,but that is not what I am implying. Just like two Corvettes can roll off the assembly line and one be faster even though they are completely the same. Some DJ's can read slighly different. Either way I'm not trying to start a debate about it. It's just what I heard from a few people about Topspeed's particular unit.

You know haven't really payed attention to where it's hitting 26 psi yet, lol. From about 4k over it goes by pretty quick and I'm too focused on the road. A while back the car was on Dyno4mance's DD and I believe it was hitting around 15-16psi by 4400 rpms with full boost (pump gas ~22ish) coming on hard there after. The lag isn't near as bad as most people make it out to be. This is my daily driver and I have no problems going from stop light to stop light or just cruising down the highway. Also, Doug told me my boost gauge (Autometer) was pretty much junk. It's reading inconsistent numbers everytime so I need to get that replaced as well.

Thank you! C16 would make for some even better numbers but I'm still on the stock block (at 64k miles) so don't wanna push it too awful hard Looks like you made some really good numbers with yours too though, congrats!
